This much-awaited certificate was received on Monday the 14th of December 2020 after a long long journey.

The journey to ISO certification started in the year 2011 at which time Kagumo Teachers’ Training College was seeking certification using the 9001:2008 standards……

ORIENTATION OF 2020 FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

This exercise kicked off with Orientation by the Chief Principal and which set the pace for the Registrar’s office, the Dean’s office, and thereafter the various curricula oriented departments. RESUMPTION OF LEARNING FOR SCHOOL BASED STUDENTS

After a consultative meeting between Senior Management and School-Based Students’ representatives, it was decided that the school-based program resume on Sunday 22nd November to Tuesday 22 nd December 2020. Students to report on Sunday 22 nd November and lessons to begin Monday 23 rd November 2020. NB: Sunday 22 nd November 2020 being a worship day kindly come early to avoid inconveniencing the housekeeping department. Earlier communication advising School-based students to join the regular program stands canceled.

COLLEGE RESUMES AFTER THE PANDEMIC CLOSURE

ARE WE PREPARED FOR RE-OPENING?

Monday 5th October and it was time to resume academic activities in the institution. The final year students started to report back for the completion of their examinations prior to embarking on the teaching practice exercise. The lecturers as well started to come back too with a good number of meetings scheduled as a way of preparing for the eventual opening of the entire college which is scheduled for 19th October 2020.
